Dear So and So....

Dear Angela,
Why are you so tired?? You have been on a fabulous holiday relaxing and resting (admittedly not sleeping well due to the blimmin chickens) but you should have more energy than this!! Pull it together woman!!
Regards Angela :(
Dear toy room
Can you please sort, tidy, work out what needs batteries replaced, what needs to be thrown away and clean your self up a bit. See letter above...I'm too tired to do it!
Regards Angela
Dear Amalie
You are growing so fast. Well done in swimming class yesterday. You did so well!!
Regards Mummy
Dear Swimming teacher
My 3 year old does not need to learn to dive so please don't spend half of her lesson teaching her how to!! How will that help her if she is in the middle of the pool drowning.
Regards the mother in the red who was frowning at you!
Dear Hubby.
Yes I know. You hurt. Its the worse pain anyone has ever felt. Ever. Yes, I know you cracked your sternum...but....WHY ON EARTH DID YOU KEEP PLAYING RUGBY WHEN YOU SHOULD HAVE COME OFF AND GONE TO A&E YOU CRAZY GOOSE!! NOW WE HAVE TO HEAR ABOUT IT FOR THE NEXT 6 WEEKS. YES 6 WEEKS!!!!
Regards your loving wife

Tuesdays around the world
Ahhhh , Muri Beach, Rarotonga 9.30pm. How I love thee......
I had a great play with my camera settings, turned it to BULB and put the camera on the deck, sat beside it and held the shutter down for2mins 10 secs! I was getting impatient and wanted to see what shot I got. By the time I set it up again the far light had been switched off and the moment was gone.... :(
So today (Wednesday not Tuesday!) I am thinking of Muri...so warm....
Wonder what others are doing around the world today????
Lets check it out over here

Part 2
Oliver and Amalie at the beach
Having a ride on the scooter!
Been a bit lazy with adding photos so they have come via Picasa which is super quick and easy but you can't enlarge them - well not that I can see anyway!!
Have a fab day everyone!

This is how the kids travelled with us!
We took the "kids" with us to Rarotonga - well they chose a stone each and we wrote there names on it. We took them everywhere and took photos of them when we could (remembered) :)
Oliver and Amalie on flight to Rarotonga watching "Alice in Wonderland" (I won't let Oliver watch this so he thinks this photo is so unfair!)
Amalie and Oliver going to bed.

Rugby World Cup 2011
Well, its been weeks in the planning.
Security, guards, secret location!!
We were soooooo lucky to be able to view THE CUP. Rugby is huge in our family. Huge. So to be able to go see this was amazing. Only a selected few and luckily we were in the know with people and got in. Oliver was buzzing. wonder if he will get to hold in up one day?????

A holiday, a wedding and a funeral
we spent the week hanging out in the sun, reading, exploring the island via scooter and catching up with friends and of course reconnecting with each other!
The wedding was beautiful. Kate looked amazing and it was such a perfect day and beautiful spot. Her hubby Ben was adorable. Cried the whole way through. The speeches were emotional but beautiful and we danced outside and sweated till we had to leave the venue at 11pm. Bearing in mind it was still 30 degrees at 11pm!!

The day of the wedding I checked my emails at the cafe. I was shocked to see a family friend of my husbands had been shot and killed outside his house. This family was a huge part of Greg's life in his teenage years. He worked on their family farm and dated the oldest daughter for several years.Scott had risen on Thursday morning to go to work as per normal. Leaving his pregnant wife and 2 year old sun still sleeping. He got to the end of the drive way where we understand he got out of his ute and was then then shot and found later. Now if you know this family you will be as baffled as we are all about who on earth could of done something like this.
The funeral was horrific and my heart broke for his young wife, son and soon to be born baby. It seems so unfair.

My 100th Post!!!

So I have been thinking about what to write for my 100th post. Nothing came to mind. I thought about posting a photo of my suitcases nearly packed for Rarotonga but then I felt like I was bragging!
I thought about posting a pic of Oliver with yet again another bump and cut to his head but I thought you would all think I was a crazy mother who never watched my child! (not)
So many things I could have said.
And then I went to my dashboard and saw the title "Chosen". I knew instantly what it meant. A blog that I follow...well people that I read about their daily lives, have been chosen again to adopt. Its so exciting!! I dont know these people at all but I read the blog!!!!
Adoption is amazing. I know I go on and on and on about it but it truly is. I remember those 2 days when our phone calls arrived. How thankful we were. I mean, we had to rely on a very special person GIVING UP their baby. Who does that???
Sarah and Erin did....and we are thankful
For this child I prayed
1 Samuel 1:27
