


and I am not sure I can even shorten it enough to write but a while back I posted about my Dad and his Father's war medals. (wish I knew how to link you back to it)
I finally got around to photographing them - in the home of their rightful owner.
I never knew my Grandad - he died way before I was born at only 56 years old. So young. Just digging in the garden his heart gave out and he died. I wish I knew him. He sounded like an amazing man.

Oh my word Angela. Gorgeous pictures. I will click around and try to find it because that sounds like something I would love to read.
I just see that I hardly wrote about it!!! I thought I had explained it all! Funny. Well lets just say that the medals were given to someone who they didn't belong to and its taken years to get them back. Dad was the only boy in the family so rightfully he should get them but noone else could see it that way. They are where they need to be now though which is great!
Angela, THe tribute to your grandfather was beautiful! YOur phots are outstanding. Your grandfather must have been special.
