Tuesdays around the world

Today I am washing under 9 rugby jerseys! It is so bitter sweet for me as Oliver loves playing rugby but the thought of standing on the sideline every Saturday in the rain and cold does not excite me one little bit!

I also read this today and found it very moving in light of the last few days.

"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."
- Martin Luther King, Jr.

Sometimes it´s tough to follow the children´s activities - especially when it rains... Don´t know how many times I´ve almost freezed to death, haha! :-D

I've had to wash hubby's team's rugby jersey's before *shudder* lol. I feel the same way, I'm looking forward to my little man being old enough to play rugby but they start so early and it'll be COLD!

Wow, that's a lot of rugby shirts!

{I love that quote.}

That is a great quote. I'm not rejoicing. Yes he inflicted a lot of pain on a lot of people, but at the same time... there are people who still support him and with his death (I assume you are referring to bin Laden) that now his followers will seek revenge as well. This isn't over yet :(

Truly a heartfelt quote from one of the greats! Hate begets more hate. The cycle must be broken. Love is surely the solution. Great photo, btw. Thanks for sharing it with us at CG. =)

I'm LOVING those jerseys on the line! They just brightened up the day.

I too saw, and then posted, that MLK Jr. quote yesterday. So right.

Enjoy rugby season! Love the jerseys all in a row! I can imagine you must do a lot of laundry during the season!
